The Ministry of Employment and the Economy, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education and Culture, and the organisations under their guidance that offer internationalisation services make up the core of the network. There are more than 80 Team Finland teams abroad.
The network was founded in the early 2000s. At that time it was realised that Finland’s success depends more than ever on companies’ international success, and that companies still need the state’s help on global markets.
